WELCOME TO IMPRESSIONS OF THE KING
"Are you an Elvis impersonator?"

"No, I'm not.  An impersonator is someone who can merely sound like someone else.  Just like many other guys who do this I call myself a Tribute Artist because my goal is to honor the legacy of Elvis, not just try to sound like him.  There will never be another Elvis and I do not claim to be Elvis, but I do enjoy entertaining and paying tribute to him as an artist."

"Do you lip-sync?"

"Not at all!  All of my singing is live and in person!  I do use performance tracks for my "band" (so to speak), but all the singing is done by me and none of it is pre-recorded."

"Where do those jumpsuits come from?"

"All of my performance wardrobe and jumpsuits have been hand-made by my mother and decorated by my wife.  Why pay thousands for one when I have a great seamstress for a mother and a very creative, meticulous wife!  My newest jumpsuit is very similar to Elvis' powder blue jumpsuit and I've really enjoyed wearing it at my last two shows at Keystone Meadows and The Glenwood."

"Do you do a lot of "jirating" and "hip-shaking" during your shows like Elvis did?"

"I've studied Elvis's movements and his style for a long time and I do incorporate his moves and style in my shows, but nothing that is not in good taste.  I pride myself on putting on a quality, family-friendly show that is entertaining and always in good taste."

"I've seen other Elvis performers that charge $500.00, $1,000.00 and even more for their services.  Why do you only charge $60.00?"

"Those fees you are seeing are for performers who are doing this sort of thing professionally as their main vocation.  They have probably also invested a lot in their wardrobes, their bands, and other expenses involved in doing this full-time.  Since I do this on the side, I believe that my fees should be affordable and attainable for any group large or small."
